Overview

NIS & RISC Review (“we,” “our,” or “us”) is published by One Rad Studio LLC. This Privacy Policy explains how the app handles your information. The short version: the app has no user accounts, advertising, general-purpose analytics SDK, or crash reporting. Your study content and progress stay on your device. RevenueCat processes purchase history associated with an anonymous App User ID and custom-paywall views so the app can provide full access and measure conversion. It receives no questions, answers, scores, search terms, or other study activity.

Information We Collect

We do not ask for your name or email address, and we do not send your study activity off your device. There is no app account to sign up for.

RevenueCat receives purchase history associated with an anonymous App User ID for entitlement validation and reporting. When the app displays its custom purchase screen, RevenueCat also receives an app-interaction event identifying the paywall source and offering. We use purchase history for app functionality and analytics, and the paywall interaction for analytics. We do not link these records to your identity or use them to track you across apps or websites. See Purchases and Paywall Measurement below.

Information Stored On Your Device

The app records your study activity so it can show your progress and readiness. All of it is written to a private database on your device and is never transmitted anywhere:

• Study progress: question answers, practice results, lesson progress, and per-topic mastery.
• Settings: your chosen exam date, practice filters, and display options.
• Issue reports: if you tap “Report an issue” on a card or question, your note is stored locally so it can be reviewed and exported by you. It is not automatically sent to us.

On iOS and Android this database lives in the app's private sandbox, which other apps cannot read.

Network Use

NIS & RISC Review is designed to work fully offline: all study content ships inside the app, and no internet connection is needed to use it. The app contains no general-purpose analytics SDK, advertising SDK, or crash-reporting SDK, and it does not send your study data to us or to anyone else.

The app may connect to RevenueCat to load the purchase offering, validate or restore full access, complete a purchase, and record a custom-paywall impression. See Purchases and Paywall Measurement below.

Purchases and Paywall Measurement

NIS & RISC Review includes a free eight-question high-yield sampler and the first two sections of each guide. Unlocking the remaining content is a single, one-time in-app purchase with no subscription.

Payment itself is handled entirely by Apple or Google. We never see your card details, billing address, or store account.

To show the offer, determine whether you have purchased the unlock, restore access, and measure which in-app purchase screens lead to completed purchases, the app uses RevenueCat, a purchase-management and analytics service acting as our data processor. RevenueCat receives:

• the App Store or Google Play transaction receipt for this app, which shows what was purchased and when;
• an anonymous App User ID generated by the RevenueCat SDK for purchase management;
• the source key and offering associated with a displayed custom paywall;
• basic technical information that accompanies any internet request, such as your device platform, app version, and IP address.

The app does not send your name, email address, or Apple or Google account details to RevenueCat. We do not link its records to an app account or your study history. We use the purchase and paywall data to load the correct offer, validate and restore purchases, and compare completed purchases with custom-paywall views. RevenueCat retains this data for entitlement validation and reporting; it is not ephemeral. RevenueCat's privacy policy is at https://www.revenuecat.com/privacy.

No study data — questions, answers, scores, progress, search terms, settings, or issue reports — is ever sent to RevenueCat or to us.

Third-Party Services

RevenueCat, described above, is the only third-party service the app integrates, and it receives only the purchase and paywall-interaction data listed there. We treat RevenueCat as a service provider processing the data for One Rad Studio. We do not sell or rent your information, and the app does not use it for advertising or cross-app tracking. Data sent to RevenueCat is encrypted in transit.

If you download the app from the Apple App Store or Google Play, those stores handle your purchase and may collect information under their own privacy policies. We receive store sales reports and can view purchase records associated with anonymous App User IDs in RevenueCat. We do not receive your payment card details or study history.

Your Rights and Choices

• Access: your on-device study data is visible within the app, and Settings includes an export of your study history.
• Deletion: you can reset your progress from within the app's settings, or uninstall the app to remove all on-device data. Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone.
• No app account: there is no account to close. Contact [email protected] with privacy questions about the anonymous RevenueCat record; we do not claim an automated account-deletion path.

Children's Privacy

NIS & RISC Review is a professional study tool intended for physicians and physicians-in-training. It is not directed at children under 13.

GDPR and CCPA

RevenueCat processes the purchase history, paywall-interaction data, anonymous App User ID, and basic technical request information described under Purchases and Paywall Measurement. We do not attach an app account or study history to these records or use them for cross-app tracking. We hold no profile of your studying, and there is no server-side copy of your study data. Where we act as a controller for purchase data, our legal basis is the performance of our contract with you; paywall measurement supports our legitimate interest in understanding whether the purchase flow works. If you are in the European Union, the United Kingdom, or California, your rights under the GDPR, UK GDPR, or CCPA apply to that limited data; contact us at [email protected] with questions. Your on-device study data remains entirely under your control and can be removed at any time by resetting your progress or uninstalling the app.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected here with a new effective date. If a future version of the app ever adds an optional account or sync feature, this policy will be updated before that feature ships, and any such feature will be opt-in.
