NIS & RISC Review Privacy Policy

Effective Date: July 15, 2026

Overview

NIS & RISC Review (“we,” “our,” or “us”) is published by One Rad Studio LLC. This Privacy Policy explains how the app handles your information. The short version: we collect nothing. NIS & RISC Review has no user accounts, no backend server, no analytics, and no advertising. The study content ships inside the app, and your study progress never leaves your device.

Information We Collect

None. We do not collect, transmit, receive, or store any personal information. The app does not ask for your name, email address, or any other identifying detail, and there is nothing to sign up for.

Information Stored On Your Device

The app records your study activity so it can schedule reviews and show your progress. All of it is written to a private database on your device and is never transmitted anywhere:

  • Study progress: flashcard review history and scheduling state, question answers, exam-simulation results, and per-topic mastery.
  • Settings: your chosen exam date, daily review targets, reminder preferences, and display options.
  • Issue reports: if you tap “Report an issue” on a card or question, your note is stored locally so it can be reviewed and exported by you. It is not automatically sent to us.

On iOS and Android this database lives in the app's private sandbox, which other apps cannot read.

Network Use

NIS & RISC Review is designed to work fully offline and does not require an internet connection. The app contains no analytics SDK, no advertising SDK, and no crash-reporting SDK, and it does not send your study data to us or to anyone else.

Notifications

If you enable study reminders, they are scheduled and delivered locally by your device. We do not operate a push-notification server, and no reminder information leaves your device. You can revoke notification permission at any time in your device settings.

Third-Party Services

NIS & RISC Review integrates no third-party services. We do not sell, rent, or share your information, because we never receive it in the first place.

If you download the app from the Apple App Store or Google Play, those stores handle your purchase and may collect information under their own privacy policies. That relationship is between you and the store — we receive only aggregate, anonymous sales reporting, which does not identify you.

Your Rights and Choices

  • Access: all of your data is visible within the app, and Settings includes an export of your study history.
  • Deletion: you can reset your progress from within the app's settings, or uninstall the app to remove all on-device data. Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone.
  • No accounts: there is no account to close and no server-side copy of your data to request or erase.

Children's Privacy

NIS & RISC Review is a professional study tool intended for physicians and physicians-in-training. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone.

GDPR and CCPA

Because we do not collect or process personal data, there is no personal data for us to disclose, sell, correct, port, or erase, and no legal basis for processing is required. If you are in the European Union, the United Kingdom, or California, the rights you hold under the GDPR, UK GDPR, or CCPA apply to data controllers who hold your data — we hold none. Your on-device data remains entirely under your control.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected here with a new effective date. If a future version of the app ever adds an optional account or sync feature, this policy will be updated before that feature ships, and any such feature will be opt-in.
